Shanti M. Pepper, Ph.D.

I received my Ph.D. in counseling psychology from The Pennsylvania State University after completing my pre-doctoral internship at the Vanderbilt-VA Consortium in Nashville, TN.
I completed a postdoctoral fellowship at The Ohio State University and then pursued specialized training as a PTSD postdoctoral fellow at the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS). I served for eight years at CAVHS in the Outpatient PTSD Clinic, and five of those years I was the Military Sexual Trauma (MST) program coordinator for most of the state of Arkansas.
I then pursued a career as a staff psychologist and supervisor in Primary Care-Mental Health Integration (PCMHI) and Behavioral Health Interdisciplinary Program (BHIP) at the Montana VA Healthcare System (MTVA).
My professional endeavors also include training and supervising psychology interns and postdoctoral fellows, teaching university classes, serving as subject matter expert in PTSD, general mental health, whole-health interventions, integrative behavioral health programming, and behavioral medicine.
